Righteous Indignation

I am a born again Christian who believes that as a member of the body of Christ, I am commanded  by God Himself to speak the truth in love. That is not always an easy thing to do. Especially when you dealing with opposing circumstances that would attempt to darken the light of God’s unchanging love. We do know that darkness cannot penetrate light in the least extent. But only the smallest packet of light, say a photon, immediately banishes darkness to places unknown! This physical metaphor shows us what is possible for all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and faith in his word. It cannot return to Him without first accomplishing that which it was sent to do. We are the Word that was spoken by the Father, just as His Son was, before time was. Darkness presents itself in many ways. But all of them are attempts to make you and I believe that the Word of God is not true. God’s Word has already come to past in all eternity! It is our job and mission to live it out in this present world. That is the one thing Satan dreads more than hell itself!

We should not be mad at the devil for doing what he has done from the beginning. We should be mad at ourselves for allowing him to do it! Everything bad that you can think of could have been prevented had the church done those things the Master has commanded us. All things are possible to him who believes. If you do not believe this, then I’m sorry to tell you that you are not a Christian. Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a perfect sin free life, did signs and wonders. When evil was terrified of being totally destroyed, it took the life of our Savior (with the Father’s permission of course, for it was all in His great plan). He lay in the grave for 3 days and was resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit. Before He ascended back to the Father, He gave us the same power He possessed, that we to may overcome the works of the enemy. It can only be due to a lack of faith on our part that holds us back. Love for one another, and the ability to repent to God and forgive ourselves for the divisions among us. We can and will be the church that God intended us to be! I started this blog to bring the entire body of Christ together in one place.  An ambitious task? Yes, without the  Holy Spirits to guide me. But with Him, all things are possible! I started this post by naming it “Righteous Indignation”, a phase used primarily to express the churches displeasure with something that ‘the world’ was doing that got under our skin so to speak. Like when Jesus whipped the people who were attempting to turn God’s house into a house of merchandise. But as I began to write, my anger (or displeasure), turned away  from the world and onto myself. I must be all I was meant to be in this present life. God has much more than heaven in store for those who love Him. Just in case you are unfamiliar with the requirement of love – according to God. It is to do what He tells you. In His mind, you do not love Him if you do your own will. He has a splendid purpose for your life that is so much better that anything  you could ever dream up. But, you can only find His will by getting into His presence. You can only find His presence by seeking Him with your whole being. Love Him with everything you have and experience the abundant life with me. Together, we can do all things. For, this are the words of the Master, and He cannot lie…Image
